“A Design Therapist”
Jesse Turek is founder and principal designer of Turek Interiors and SUFACESCAPES. Over two decades of design experience and working with designers such as Karina Oldemans of Los Angeles, James Huniford and Christopher Maya of NYC, he has gained extensive knowledge in all areas of design. Turek’s formal education and graduating Cum Laude at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles allowed him to establish a strong foundation for his design firm.
Our Approach
Whether you are building a new home, remodeling or just refurnishing, we at Turek Interiors know how stressful and time-consuming the design process can be. With 22 years under our belt, we have learned what works and what doesn’t work. However, we do know that no project is the same and each one comes with its own challenges. During the design undertaking we are there every step of the way, from overseeing construction, accepting furniture deliveries and managing detailed layouts of materials. The entire project is mapped out before the work begins so that all who are involved are on the same page. We have a straightforward approach to the process and are extremely communicative. Every step on our part is strategic and is implemented for a reason - which is to achieve the most relaxed, seamless and efficient experience possible.
Our Focus
Turek Interiors will take care of every aspect of the design process which include but are not limited to:
Conceptual design development, project management, kitchen design, bathroom design, remodel, new construction, custom millwork design, re-upholstery, color consultations, art curation and restoration of historic homes.
“I love everything we have done together so far and would never have been able to do this on my own. It’s been like true ‘retail therapy’ – Jesse has given me permission to acquire nice things, and I feel like I deserved to upgrade my space. Jesse is amazing and his communication style has been perfect for me. He has this invaluable ability to notice when I am reaching design overload and is able to help me prioritize decisions in a manner that I don’t feel rushed or pressured. Now I am so spoiled, I can’t make a move without him!”
