Jesse Turek is founder and principal designer of Turek Interiors and SUFACESCAPES. Over two decades of design experience and working with designers such as Karina Oldemans of Los Angeles, James Huniford and Christopher Maya of NYC, he has gained extensive knowledge in all areas of design. Turek’s formal education and graduating Cum Laude at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles allowed him to establish a strong foundation for his design firm.
Throughout his career, Turek has completed designs for numerous homes, from restoring tudors, gut renovations of beach houses, designs for bungalows, city apartments and a handful of restaurants and lounges along with designing the greenroom for Live with Kelly and Ryan.
Turek’s hard work and dedication has garnered him features in The New York Times, Design NJ, My Domaine, Sotheby’s and Business Insider. These features were earned by the diverse designs that reflect his portfolio. Jesse is known for designing timeless interiors that represent the clients that seek him out. Jesse enjoys the collaboration between client and designer and the process of identifying the homeowner’s own personal aesthetic. Over the years, Jesse’s clients have called him a design therapist. This is the biggest compliment one can give him since he leads his design process knowing that the homes he designs are a process that requires trust and transparency. His main objective is to create atmospheres that will uplift and nurture the lives of the individuals that reside in the spaces he designs.
Jesse resides in Manhattan and Pennsylvania which allows him to comfortably work on projects in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. However, Turek enjoys traveling and will design anywhere in the world.
